Heat 1 was again a quick affair with the added cars and noise from the Heritage cars the pits emptied of people when the sound of V8’s echoed through the air. Half spinning the Smith car into turn 1 and slowing up his progress.  This left Sam Wainwright to drive a very mature race and with the speed he showed there was to be no catching the 227 car in the final. A very well-deserved win after coming so close to winning the final the day before.

Final Result 1st 227 Sam Wainwright 2nd 51 Nick Smith 3rd 371 Garry Adnitt 7, 190, 59, 229, 286
