V8 Tour Series
“A V8 powered racing series that covers the whole country and is open to all V8 stock car drivers, with cheap affordable parts that are reliable and easily accessible."
The Series that runs from the North East of England to the very South, We are always open to new venues and will always race where we are welcome, irrespective of which promotion or governing body you are.
A series that at its core is up to 20 meetings nationwide with good spacing of events and hopefully weekend meeting to encourage travelling for drivers and fans alike based further away from events.
A friendly welcoming community sometimes referred to as "outlaws" because of where we race, but are anything but in our relationships with our teams, partners, backers and fans.
This will be YOUR series, OUR series.
That's it ! season 2.0 is done. A testing year for everyone at home, work and at the tracks, Everyone here at the v8 stock cars tour would like to thank all who have been part of our journey up until now. From the encouraging words at meetings and on message boards. To the teams and families who have chosen to spend their weekends with us. Especially the drivers who have raced once or twenty one times on tour, your enthusiasm is the life of this series.
We look forward to seeing you all next season and will of course keep you up to date with the plans and future of the "TOUR" as we progress through the winter.
We hope you and your families are safe and well in these difficult times.
For the last time in 2020 the stars of the V8 stock cars tour entered the collosseum that is Ringwood raceway to battle it out for the Chase for the Rona Gold championship final.
A Moss family lockout on the front row for the second year running failed to result in a win for either team as this time it was the Flying Peter Scott driving the Ahern waste/ Pinches retreat car from Essex. Peter drove a experienced race to hunt down the long time leader 15 Brad Moss with two laps to go before easing through and crossing the line to claim another historic win.
Peter also rounded out the evening with the win in the last race of this year in what many have been saying was the best race in the short time the series has been running. places 2nd to 4th crossed the line in a close group. close enough you could have thrown a blanket over the 3 cars.
