After what can only be described as a Dominant season what more would you expect than a dominant performance in heat 1 ? And that is exactly what we got when Anthony Filby 356 continued where he left off here last time. Anthony sped to an early lead with Sam Wainwright the only other driver who looked to be getting to grips with the track conditions.
1st– 356 Anthony Filby, 227, 15, 168, 85
The drivers were joined by the late arrival of 155 Jimmy Rispin. Jimmy making his 1st appearance of the year intime to try and score some points to move up the Chase for the Gold grid later in the day.
Another fast-paced race with Filby getting to the lead. Wainwright and 15 Brad Moss made Filby work harder for this win as they both closed the gap on the leader as the lap boards came out. But Filby had enough to stay at the front of the field.
1st- 356 Anthony Filby, 227, 15, 168, 85, 155
Feature final time.
DOMINANCE! Anthony Filby raced to another Brampton raceway win, making this 7 (SEVEN) race wins in a row at the venue. Unfortunately, 85 Colin Moss retired to the idle after a handful of laps. The real battle was between Wainwright and Moss in the closing stages with Moss this time coming home 2nd as the hit into 3 and 4 from Wainwright wasn’t enough to change the positions as they both dragged it out to the line.

The last chance to score points for the grid for next months Chase for the Gold championship race. Filby and Moss dived into turns 1 and 2 and contact was made. Both cars spun to the inside slowing both down. The race became between 168 Sam Chambers and the defending Chase for the Gold champion 227 Sam Wainwright . As the laps ran down Wainwright hit the front and cruised to victory. 356 managed to get back to 3rd.
